Everything on this site is an estimate produced by the formula set out on the methodology page. It is offered for general information and comparison. It is not a quotation, a bill, or professional advice.

Actual electricity costs depend on your utility’s tariff, fixed charges, taxes, time-of-use pricing, the specific appliance you own and how you use it. The price per kilowatt-hour on your own bill is always the authority for your household.

No warranty

The site is provided “as is”. We take accuracy seriously and correct errors promptly, but we do not warrant that every figure is free of error or current at the moment you read it. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for loss arising from reliance on these estimates.

Safety

Nothing here is electrical advice. Do not use these figures to size circuits, select breakers or plan wiring. Electrical work should be carried out by a qualified electrician in accordance with local code.
