Appliance wattages
Appliance power draw is not taken from a single dataset, because no authoritative national one exists. Each appliance page states the basis for its range explicitly — typically a circuit limit, a standard component rating, or the span between common model sizes — and invites you to substitute the figure on your own appliance’s label.
We consider this more honest than presenting an unsourced single number as fact, which is the usual practice.
Endorsement
Every figure on this site is built from the table above and a stated wattage basis for each appliance, with nothing else behind it. Who publishes these numbers and why sets out what this site is for and what it deliberately does not do.
